If you travel up and down Western Avenue in Augusta, you are well aware of the construction underway. The Maine Department of Transportation has released an update on the progress.
The work on the Western Ave. bridge, which spans over I-95 in Augusta, is progressing! Over the next few weeks, our contracting partner Reed & Reed will focus on demolishing the old bridge and placing concrete in the top section of abutment 1.
