A Saturday night flight ended with an arrest at Bangor International Airport after police say a Minnesota passenger became increasingly agitated over a delay, according to WVII.
Bangor officers were called to the airport after 59-year-old Jeffrey Wazenegger reportedly began yelling at employees and other passengers while waiting to get off the plane.
Police say things escalated when officers arrived. According to authorities, Wazenegger tried to get past them and leave through the sky bridge.
Officers attempted to take him into custody, but police say he resisted and injured one officer during the confrontation. The officer suffered minor injuries.
Wazenegger was taken into custody and is now facing charges of disorderly conduct, refusing to submit to arrest and assault on a police officer.
