The Fire Marshal’s Office has released an update on the Christmas Day fire in Clinton on Gustafson Road.
On December 25, 2024, at 0806 hours, Fire Marshal’s Office Investigators were called to 144 Gustafson Road in Clinton to assist the Clinton Fire Department with an origin-and-cause fire investigation. After conducting a scene examination, investigators determined that the fire was started by an overheated heat tape beneath the mobile home. The fire is being classified as accidental.
