Our Save Your Breath 5K run is the only fundraiser that supports our programs. Your generous support is greatly appreciated. This year’s registration is $40.00. T-shirts will be available if registered no later than 5:00 pm on September 18, 2026. We are offering free registration to those who raise $150.00 or more. Once you have raised $150.00, contact us for your free registration discount card. $10.00 discount for ALL running clubs, Veterans, Senior Citizens, and if you choose not to have an event tee shirt. Student registration is $25.00 for all students. Free registration for our silent auction. Please contact Deb for your discount coupon for the event you are interested. Only one coupon per registrant. There will be a $100.00 cash prize for the overall Male/Female live 5k participants. $40.00 for each top male/female age group. 2nd and 3rd place male/female will receive a gift card to Lamey Wellehan. All winners in the live race will receive a Free ME from Lung Cancer medal. We have also included a virtual 5k and walk for those who are unable to attend the live event. Together, we can change the lives of lung cancer patients one step at a time.
This race has been sanctioned by the USATF and certified as a 5k run by Scott Brown. Doors open at 7am for race packet pick up. Walk and timed walk will begin at 8:00am and the race will begin at 8:30am. Please contact Deb Violette, President, at 207-215-9035 if you have any questions.
