Early Monday morning, Feb. 9, Waterville Police responded to 267 Main Street for a domestic dispute.
Officers on scene were able to develop probable cause to charge 49-year-old Christopher Bryant of Fairfield, with domestic violence assault and domestic violence terrorizing.
According to the Waterville Police, Bryant initially refused to leave the residence causing a brief standoff.
Chief William Bonney wants to commend the work of his investigators and negotiators, stating, “their hard work brought a peaceful solution to a situation that was anything but peaceful”.
