Glenburn residents spent Saturday celebrating one of Maine’s most mysterious creatures at a Bigfoot-themed community event.
Tocci’s Checkout, a convenience store in Glenburn, hosted its second annual sasquatch party, bringing together local organizations, businesses and curious community members for an afternoon of cryptid-themed fun.
Arbor Distillery offered locally made drinks inspired by Bigfoot, while the local serpent sanctuary gave visitors a chance to see live snakes and other reptiles. The Maine Bigfoot Foundation and the Cryptozoology Museum also took part in the festivities, According to WVII.
Last year’s event gained widespread attention online after videos featuring sasquatch calls went viral. Organizers brought the celebration back this year, giving the community another opportunity to enjoy some lighthearted fun centered around the legendary creature.
