The Lewiston Police Department, working with the Androscoggin County District Attorney’s Office and the Department of Homeland Security, executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation into the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.
As a result of the warrant, officers arrested 56-year-old Scott Bussiere of Lewiston. He has been charged with Possession of Sexually Explicit Material Involving a Child Under 12.
Bussiere is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail.
Authorities say additional charges are expected in the case.
