Lewiston Police Investigating Shooting of Male Teen

Lewiston Police last night, Jan. 23, responded to 129 Pierce St. for a report of a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

When police arrived, they located the gunshot victim, a 14-year-old male, and began rendering aid. The male was transported to Central Maine Medical Center, where he remains with a non-life-threatening injury.

The teen is refusing to cooperate with investigators. Police say, there does not appear to be any threat to the public.
