The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a second break-in at the 45 North Cannabis Company on Auburn Road.

On May 5, at approximately 3:15am, deputies responded to an alarm activation at the business. Investigators determined that two suspects forced entry into the building and stole an undisclosed amount of product before fleeing the scene in a black vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen and was later recovered in Augusta by the Augusta Police Department.

During the investigation, authorities also recovered a white Toyota SUV believed to have been used in a previous burglary at the same location on April 30.

The two incidents are believed to be connected. At this time, the suspects have not been identified or located, but investigators have developed leads they are actively pursuing.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to contact the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office at 207-753-2599.

This marks the second time in less than a week that the cannabis retailer has been targeted.
