Lewiston Police last night, May 5, were called to the area of Rideout Avenue for a report of gunshots heard in the area.
When police arrived, they located several neighbors who reported hearing gunshots in the roadway.
Lewiston Police say they located several shell casings in the street and found that one bullet had struck a nearby home. Witnesses reported that the suspect vehicle appeared to have shot at a vehicle departing the Hillview Complex. Officials report that it does not appear that anyone was struck by the gunfire.
