The City of Augusta has consolidated all polling locations. New for the Nov. 4 election, all Augusta voters will now cast their ballots at a single, consolidated polling location.
All voting will be done, for the very first time, at the Augusta Civic Center.
The consolidation was, according to AugustaMaine.gov, to streamline operations, improve accessibility, and ensure a consistent voting experience for all residents. The Augusta Civic Center is ADA-compliant, centrally located, and offers ample parking and space.
Free, wheelchair accessible transportation to the Augusta Civic Center will be available via a continuous route running from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from the former ward locations:
-Buker Community Center – 22 Armory Street
-Augusta City Center – 16 Cony Street
-Cony High School – 40 Pierce Drive
